Our Story

Hi there! We're a laid-back, outdoorsy couple who love welcoming travelers to our little slice of paradise in Kanab, Utah.

I'm Heinz, originally from Austria—lover of good food, mountain air, and once the proud owner of a cozy bar back in Ebensee. Now, I'm a music promoter and vacation rental host. My future wife, Maria, brings her background in home remodeling, with California roots, and Mexican heritage to life through amazing home-cooked meals and a warm, vibrant spirit.

Together, we've built a life centered around freedom, fun, and exploring the incredible landscape that surrounds us. Our grown kids are off on their own adventures, which means we get to spend our time discovering new trails, off-roading through red rock canyons, and sharing this beautiful area with others.

Kanab is the perfect basecamp for adventure—close to Zion, Bryce, the Grand Canyon, and countless hidden gems. Whether you want to hit the trails, book a guided Jeep tour, explore slot canyons, or just kick back and enjoy the views, we're happy to point you in the right direction. We even offer adventure packages through our local partners and may be able to help with pet boarding if you're traveling with a four-legged friend.
